Botanica BioScience was formed in 1995 by to continue previously established academic research programs for the development and commercialization of health products derived from botanical sources.  The Company has successfully integrated modern scientific and clinical research with clinically tested proprietary formulation protocols adapted from Traditional Medicine.  Botanica’s products improve upon currently available health choices by addressing both symptoms and their underlying physiological causes. COMPANY OPERATIONS

Botanica's operations are coordinated from its headquarters in Ojai, California and an office in Beijing, China. Botanica has three laboratories in Beijing, two of which are part of PhytoMedical Research Inc (PRI). PRI is a joint venture company established in 1995 by Botanica BioScience and the China National Corporation of Traditional and Herbal Medicine (CNC). For over 40 years CNC managed the largest association of herbal growers and manufacturers in the world with over 2500 herbal material collection and redistribution centers throughout China. This relationship along with PRI's infrastructure and management team provides Botanica with optimal, direct-from-the-grower raw material sourcing and manufacturing relationships, substantial production capacity, state-of-the-art in-house product research and development facilities, in-house quality control management, as well as a network of industry contacts in China that includes an association of more than 400 companies covering all aspects of the herbal medicine business and all key government agencies. Botanica's third Beijing laboratory studies the development of medicinal mushrooms through fermentation and cultivation.
